Frequently asked questions
- We call you to confirm a few details and book a time.
- We visit (or do a video call) to see what makes your home special.
- You get your valuation with comparable sales and a recommended price range.
- You decide. List with us, wait, or simply keep the report for your records.
- Is it really free? Yes. There's no cost and no obligation to sign a mandate.
Is a valuation the same as a bank valuation? No. A bank valuation is done by the bank's valuer when a buyer applies for a bond. Ours is a market valuation: what buyers are likely to pay in today's market based on real sales.
How accurate is it? We base it on recent registered sales and current competition in your area. The market sets the final price, but a well-researched starting point is the biggest factor in selling well.
Do I need to sign a sole mandate? No. If you decide to sell, we'll explain the difference between a sole and open mandate and recommend what works for you.

Seller FAQs
How long will it take to sell? It depends on price, condition and the area. A well-priced home usually attracts its strongest interest in the first few weeks. We'll share what we're seeing in your suburb.
Can I sell and buy at the same time? Yes. We can help you structure a purchase subject to the sale of your home, and line up your next property with our buyer-side team.
What if my home is in a deceased estate or a divorce? We regularly work with executors, attorneys and families. We'll guide you through what's needed.
Do I need to fix everything before I sell? No. We'll tell you which small fixes are worth it and which aren't. Disclose known defects on the mandatory disclosure form.
